Karma Automotive will revive the Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid supercar later this year. The new name of Fisker Karma will be Karma Revero.
Fisker Automotive had stopped making its plug-in hybrid supercar "Fisker Karma" in 2012, but now it is reported that Fisker Karma is returning later this year. The automaker is now named Karma Automotive.

Wanxiang Group, the owner of Karma Automotive, is going to revive Fisker Karma by the name of Karma Revero in 2016, according to WSJ. This time the car will be built in California instead of Finland.
The new Karma Revero will have lots of similarities with the Fisker Karma, but Karma Automotive is changing name of the car to "avoid any association with the old Karma," reported Inhabitat.
No such details of the new Karma Revero have been revealed yet. But it is reported that the new plug-in hybrid Revero supercar will get some upgrades. Karma Revero will come with a new battery, charger. And it will also come with new electrical components that will be supplied by BMW.
“There are huge, serious, major upgrades throughout the electronics systems, wiring, charging, battery,” said Jim Taylor Karma’s chief marketing officer. “It just won’t be visible to the naked eye.”

Karma Revero is expected to debut in July or August 2016.
