Tom Hanks returns as the Harvard symbolist Robert Langdon in the new adaptation of the fourth book in the Langdon series by Dan Brown, Inferno. Thematically based on Dante’s Inferno, the movie will follow Robert Langdon chasing down yet another historical city to put down another plot.
The teaser, short and concise, starts with a church bell, we then see a train piercing across the greenery and we see a historical city while a voce over tells us that there is a switch, we then see Langdon holding a cylinder in his hand which slides open to reveal something elusive and the voiceover tells that if you (Langdon) throws it then half the people on Earth will die.
We see a street full of people empty in a flash. Then the voiceover tells us that if he doesn’t while Langdon looks up at something worriedly, the screen shows the Florence landscape, the voice says that in a hundred years, the human race will be extinct. While these words are being said, we see a women in a green dress and a black veil covering her face while the doorways on both her sides are thrust open with blood gushing out. The screen then turns black and the question arises whether we will throw the switch?
