John Carpenter will return to the famous horror movie of the 1970s.
Blumhouse Productions recently made an announcement that was worth so much for horror movie fans. The Production house is about to make a new Halloween movie in the coming year.

This news was a big one for sure for the Halloween fans who had seen in the first movie in 1978. This movie will be produced under the banner of Trancas International, Blumhouse and Miramax. The best part of the announcement was the announcement of its executive producer.
John Carpenter who directed the first Halloween movie 38 years earlier will be producing this new movie. He is known as the legend behind the movie and his direction was hailed when the original movie was released. He will be the executive producer of this new movie which will be produced by Jason Blum.
John said in an interview that it’s been 38 years since he directed the first movie. He also said that he will do his best in order to make the 10th movie, scariest of them all. Although no official contract has been signed by Blumhouse and Carpenter for this position but Blum has made it clear that John will be the executive producer.
Malek Akkad who has been attached with this franchise for a long time also seemed pretty happy on the news. He said that John was legendary director who created a great movie for Halloween franchise. He also stated that his team is eager to work with John as he will surely bring the best in movie with his talent and vision.

The Halloween franchise which started in 1978 has released 10 movies up till now. These movies have earned a huge amount of $400 million all around the globe.
