  • Miles Morales Might Be Taking Over the Spider Man Movie

According to Sony, Miles Morales will have his role to play in the cinematic world of Spider Man, but not where we expected.

Tom Holland’s Spider Man with his story and his relatively younger aunt were a breath of fresh air in the otherwise loaded Captain America Civil War. He was fresh, fun and had to be home before curfew and that in what Sony sold us with whole zeal at the CinemaCon. Tom Holland also made an appearance to promote Spider Man Homecoming which is due to hit the theatres next year.

There is however a new possibility on the horizon that the producers and the creators at Sony Pictures are considering. According to a recent rumor, there is another Spider Man option that the Sony Pictures is considering. Now Tom has landed the part and they have already signed on Robert Downey Jr. to appear in the movie as Tony Stark so it is really is set in stone how Homecoming will pan out.

The fans however are not thinking about the animated movie which is also in works to be released next year. This medium has had enough of the Peter Parker slate and they are going for a different kind of Spider Man. If you are a comic fan, you might be familiar to the name Miles Morales.

The half African-half Peurto Rican teenager who donned on the Spider Man uniform after Peter Parker’s death in 2011. He is a great approach considering the issue of ethnicity in Hollywood.

Heroic Hollywood‘s Umberto “El Mayimbe” Gonzalez reported that Sony will be featuring Morales in the new animated movie that is due to release in over a year’s time. it makes sense that Sony is keeping the animated and the feature film universes separate.
