In the scientific quest for black holes a question seems to have popped up. It happens to be whether they are projections and holograms?
Black holes are the most mysterious objects in the known universe. They have such a huge gravitational pull that nothing, not even light, manages to escape their clutches.
As for their visibility, it is not possible to view one and the only clue is the amount of stuff that is being sucked up by these dark entities in the far pavilions of the universe.
Yet the latest evidence suggests that black holes are actually holograms. The chaos that is extant beyond the event horizon of a black hole gives credence to this extreme view.
While up until now scientists have thought of them as three-dimensional objects of interest, in fact they may be two dimensional phenomena that are mere projections of the universe.
The holography hypothesis says that the universe may be a two-dimensional natural object that deceives us into believing that it has three dimensions of space and a fourth dimension of time. Inside a black hole, all the objects that get sucked up by gravity would be contained within the surface fluctuations.
The new insights that will be forthcoming after this study will look into the gravitational effects latent in a black hole. Via this fertile and fairer model, scientists will be able to paint a better and more realistic picture of black holes.
The past view is old hat and raised questions that are now being resolved thanks to the novel study. Several of the conundrums are beginning to yield solutions as the jigsaw puzzle of black holes start to fall into place in an interlocking manner.
Quantum gravity was the force that was examined to help explain the entropy of black holes. Stephen Hawking has already given proof of the fact that the entropy of a black hole is proportional to its area but not its volume.
This is of key significance for future research. Reality is made of tiny grains known as quanta and gravity behaves differently at such a microlevel. These quanta or condensates have a net effect on gravity.
