The third international trailer of Ghostbusters managed to get more success in views, revealed a little bit more about the characters and the fight.
After the first trailer bombed on YouTube and other social media network platforms, the marketing has gotten smarter. The first trailer for the movie got dislikes and hateful comments which made it the most disliked trailer on YouTube. The hatred from the fans led the people associated with the movie to defend the project.

Ever since then, the production has made its trailers and spoilers better. Last week, we saw Kobe Bryant featuring in a NFL spot for the movie. This week the production has released a brand new international trailer. Third to be precise but it has received a much better response from the previous trailers and its US counterparts. Total social engagement for the Ghostbusters trailer was 2.6M. That signifies the number of times it was retweeted, commented on and reblogged across social media platforms. That’s huge!
Sony might have just figured out the perfect recipe to make a successful trailer. The correct amount of time to give to Chris Hemsworth’s character Kevin. Enough sliming of Kristen Wiig’s character Erin Gilbert. Shouting on camera that ghosts exists. Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy), and Jillian Holtzman (Kate McKinnon) experimenting with proton packs.

Despite the backlash that the movie got and so much negativity for Paul Feig’s reboot, it is doing ok. It is still one of the most anticipated movies this summer. All those who are hating the movie might not go and watch it but there is a major audience looking forward to go and watch it.
