New report citing a reliable Chinese supplier says that new MacBook Air is going to be announced in June and rolls out in August.
The WWDC 2016 is kicking off on Monday, but the consensus amongst Apple insiders is that Apple is not announcing any new hardware at the WWDC 2016 keynote. The focus is on the new operating system versions. Japanese Apple blog Macotakara has a report that suggests otherwise.

Apple is according to a "reliable Chinese supplier" announcing a new MacBook Air this month. The weird part of the rumor is that the new MacBook Air would ship in August. Why would Apple announce it two months ahead of shipment? If the announcement of the new MacBook Air is in June than it is likely at during WWDC keynote.
The new MacBook Air is not expected to be big refresh. Apple is rumored to add USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports and new Intel CPUs. The design stays the same. Some reports suggest that Apple will drop the 11-inch model. Apple introduced the MacBook Air in 2008. The current MacBook Air was launched March 9, 2015.
Apple is rumored to release a new MacBook Pro with an OLED touchpad later this year. I am waiting for a new iMac, ideally with a 30-inch screen.
