E3 2016: Pokémon Sun and Moon Shows Three New Pokémon and Battle Royal Mode

Get ready to have three new Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon Sun and Moon.

Nintendo’s press conference that was streamed live from LA at E3 showed some features for the Pokémon Sun and Moon. This game will have a new mode which will also be seen on other 3DS games a well.

E3 being the biggest event of gaming has shown many new games and revisions of older ones this year. Pokémon is a big franchise that earns at least $1.5 billion annually.

The game series of this franchise sold almost 200 million copies which is a huge number for any franchise of games. The new Pokémon Sun and Moon will surely spike the numbers by many folds when it will be released on November 18.

Another big thing that was revealed in the event was Battle Royal. This is the new mode that will be included in the games. It will allow as many as four players to play the game.

The player who loses will be knocked out and the remaining one till the end will be declared winner. This feature want not present in Pokémon games previously. 

The three new Pokémon include a mongoose named Yungoos, a woodpecker named Pikipek and a larva named Grubbin. The game has a character named Hala, which was always thought to be a professor. It was revealed that he infact was a strong trainer.

On the other hand Kukui was the professor who has the specialization in Pokémon attacks. Pokémon Sun and Moon has the theme that is inspired from Hawaii. Nintendo mentioned that they were humbled by the loyalty of their fans even after so many years after the release of first game.
