Dodge Viper is going to die after the release of the 2017 model. New 25th anniversary limited-edition models feature exclusive content to commemorate the final year of Viper production.
Dodge confirms that it is going to discontinue making Vipers after the release of the 2017 model. Viper was introduced in 1992 for the first time. After that almost 30,000 vipers have been produced at Conner Ave and sold all around the world.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has confirmed that the 2017 model of Viper will be its last model. This final edition will bid farewell to this classic and fantastic car.
“The Dodge Viper has had a great run, and 25 years after it was first introduced, it leaves the supercar world reaching for the records it continues to set,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Cars, Dodge, SRT, Chrysler, and Fiat – FCA, North America.
“With more track records than any production car in the world, the Dodge Viper ACR will live on as the fastest street-legal Viper track car ever, the car that has set the benchmark for all that follows in its tracks.”
The final production of this car will include following models.
Viper 1:28 Edition ACR
This model is formulated to pay tribute to the current ACR’s lap record of 1:28:64 which was made at Lagina Seca Raceaway. A total of 28 cars of this edition will be made by the company. These all will be made with a black exterior and painted rear wing. Along with that it will showcase red ACR stripes, an aero package and carbon-ceramic brakes.
Viper GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR
This special edition will come in a blue and while colored theme which is the scheme from the 1998 Viper GTS-R GT2 Championship Edition. This special edition will have a white pearl paint with blue stripes. It will sport carbon-ceramic breaks. 100 units of this car will be built.
Viper Voodoo II Edition ACR
This car is designed after the 2010 Voodoo Edition. This car will have a black paint with graphite metallic ACR driver’s stripe along with red tracer line. 31 units of this car will be produced.
Viper Snakeskin Edition GTC
This car is inspired by 2010 Snakeskin ACR. It will be painted green with a patterned SRT stripe on the body. A total number of 25 Vipers will be produced in this model.
Dodge Dealer Edition ACR

This Viper will be available at only two outlets. It will showcase white body with blue racing stripes. A total of 33 Vipers in this model will be made.
