Dalai Lama and Lady Gaga meet in Indianapolis to talk about how modern human beings can strive for peace nationally and globally.
The 14th Dalai Lama is a symbol of peace and kindness in today’s modern world. He is signified as the harbinger of love and peace. His humble way of life and his words of guidance are always welcomed.

He recently paid a visit to the U.S. where he met with President Barack Obama. The Dalai Lama was also invited to speak at the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Indianapolis this Sunday.
The Dalai Lama spoke to the attendees which mostly comprised of the mayors from different regions around the country. He said that while outer beauty is important, inner beauty is more important still.
To be at peace with all the decisions you make is important because it is the internal peace that will be projected on the outside as well. Dalai Lama kept his speech light and hearty with a few jokes and laughs added here and there.
Later on, he sat down for a Q&A session and he was joined by none other than Lady Gaga. Both are declared advocates of tolerance, love and meditation.
They met and greeted each other with smiles before sitting down and answering the questions from attendees as well as Twitter users. Lady Gaga emphasized that kindness was a resource that was absolutely free. It grows as you give it. It is important for all of us to show kindness to one another.
According to USAToday, The Dalai Lama spoke saying that he was 81 years old. He had much experience than Gaga and others. He advised the people that whenever there is a situation, one should look at it at a wider angle.
He said that at close, it will always be devastating, however, we can also see the good things when we look at it from a wider perspective. The conference was covered on Facebook Live and it was mediated by reporter Ann Curry.
