New rumor says that Apple will match the Space Grey on the Apple Watch with the iPhone 7.
When the rumor surfaced Apple would ditch Space Grey in favor of Deep Blue in the iPhone 7, we called BS. Apple would never discontinue one of the most popular colors with geeks. Japanese Apple blog Macotakara says now that Apple is not killing space grey but makes it darker. 9to5Mac also heard from a source that Apple would match the Space Grey of the Apple Watch in the iPhone 7. This makes a lot of sense.

I own a Space Grey iPhone 6S and Space Grey Apple Watch. As you can see in the photo below, these colors with the same name are very different. I prefer the darker grey on the Apple Watch.
Macotakara also reported that the deep blue is actually a deep black. I would prefer an all black iPhone 7. Let's see if that pans out.
9to5Mac repeats the rumor that the iPhone 7 home button will not be mechanical. It will be a touch sensitive area like the screen itself. This rumor stems from a leaked iPhone 7 front plate that also has re-arranged front sensors. The iPhone 7 shapes up to be quite a bit different from the iPhone 6S.
In addition to the new colors, re-arranged sensors and new home button, the iPhone 7 comes with larger cameras including a dual lens option. The iPhone 7 might lose the 3.5mm headphone jack and become IP68 waterproof. For the first time the iPhone will start at 32GB configuration. Other storage configurations rumored include 64GB and 256GB.
The iPhone 7 series could for the first time include three models: iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro.
