We found out earlier this week that Samsung plans to announce the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on August 2nd in New York, but it seems now that Samsung plans on making the phone available for sale the very same day too.

The new phablet is dubbed as Galaxy Note 7 so that it has the series number as Samsung’s other flagship the S series. It has been procured in enough numbers by the Korean Giant that it can begin sales adjacent to the announcement.
Samsung decided to take this step so that it could take full advantage of its popularity at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. It is one of the major sponsors for the Games and has seen its Galaxy S series do extraordinary well there.
This action away from the norm has been taken to give the Galaxy Note 7 an opportunity to establish its market presence and assert its dominance in the smartphone market before the new iPhone arrives in August.
None of this has been confirmed by the company though so don’t take this as the last word.
