VW is going to produce more electric cars by the year 2020 despite the problems faced by country.
Despite the fact that emission scandal is creating loads of mess for VW, the motor company is thinking about future projects. It looks like VW is trying to cope with the scandal along with finding new opportunities for a new opening.

However it doesn’t look like the emission scandal will leave Volkswagen alone any time soon. The company will have to bear the weight of this scandal for a long time before it will redeem itself to the fullest.
Volkswagen said on Tuesday in an official statement to WSJ that it is going to build new electric cars by the year 2020 in North America. This conformation was made at Wall Street Journal.
According to experts it is VW’s step in order to gain its derailed repute. There are several law suits filed against the motor company due to the fact that it cheated on the diesel emission logs by implanting the devices in cars that can cheat the emission measurement.
The company is planning to produce 20 fully electric vehicles and plug in hybrids by the year 2020. It is predicted that these cars will actually work as smartphones running on wheels. Volkswagen did not reveal any other details about this project, nor we know when the production will start.
The head of Volkswagen Hinrich Woebcken said that that car industry is getting revolutionized. He further commented that in the American region the trend of getting a diesel or petrol car will start decreasing soon.

He said that people will be more oriented towards getting fully electric or at least hybrid cars for the better run. These are true things however VW has a long journey ahead to redeem its lost dignity.
