Some of the Ferrari and Mercedes vehicles are being sold with dangerous Takata Air Bags.

Takata Air Bags have spurred quite a controversy in the past few months. The shrapnel issue became a serious one when many injuries were reported due to faulty inflation of Takata Air Bags. Thus the NHSA refrained the company to produce any more Takata air bags of that sort.

Along with that the company recalled thousands of vehicles from all over the world in order to replace the faulty apparatus in the air bags, according to Automotive News.

There are many cars that are being recalled. However according to some recent reports many Mercedes models and Ferrari's are being sold with the same faulty Takata Air Bags. This can become really dangerous for the passengers and drivers of the car.

It has been claimed by a U.S senator Bill Nelson that Ferrari models such as 2017 FF, California T, F12 Tdf, 488 GTB, 488 Spider and GTC4 Lusso are models that are being sold with these corrupted air bags from Takata. Along with that it is also some Mercedes-Benz vehicles such as 2016 Sprinter and 2016-17 E-Class are also using the effected air bags.

Authorities are going to take a look into this matter and then something significant about the cars will be said. It is being said that NHSA is carrying out an investigation to look into this matter. If this kind of thing is being proven then the cars will be recalled to fix the issue by car makers. The Takata Air Bags start to malfunction due to excessive humidity and heat at certain areas of world.

There are many car makers such as VW, Fiat and Toyota that are still using these faulty Takata Air Bags. This is a major issue to look into as well.
