Two men, one with a gun and one an underage driver, tried to rob a group of people who were playing Pokemon Go. What they didn't count on is that one of the players in the Las Vegas park would have his own weapon and he would pull it.

The incident, which occurred early Monday morning, is something that many critics and fans of the game have been worried about. This is because there are usually larger gatherings of people in public spaces and it is quite easy to find players - just go where the Pokemon are. In Las Vegas, this means a public park downtown.
Las Vegas police spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said that the shooting left both parties hospitalized with injuries, and both are expected to be fine. However, the suspect and the juvenile driving the car will be charged.
The suspect ordered the Pokemaster to give him all of his possessions. He refused and the player, who has a concealed weapons permit, drew his gun. One person was shot in the stomach, but it is unclear who that was.
The location of the shooting, Gary Reese Freedom Park, is a hotspot for a Magikarp, which takes a lot of Pokemon to upgrade.
