Chinese consumer electronics maker Xiaomi revealed a new flagship smartphone.

Xiaomi took the wraps off the new Redmi Pro on Wednesday. The new smartphone is Xiaomi's first with a dual camera. The dual camera system consists of a 13MP and a 5MP sensor. The dual camera enables the so called bokeh effect in photos. This is the signature effect of out-of-focus backgrounds known from DSLR cameras.

Besides the dual lens camera system, the new Redmi Pro features a 5.5-inch OLED display with 100% NTSC color gamut. The battery has a 4,050mAh capacity. The storage options range from 32GB to 128GB, expandable via memory card slot.

The brushed aluminum body is completed with a 2.5D curved glass. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio X20 in the base model and by the Helio X25 in the 64GB and 128GB model. Only the 128GB Redmi Pro has 4GB RAM. The other two models only come with 3GB of RAM.
