Impossible Foods is a company which made the perfect meatless burger. This bleeding veggie burger will debut today to the public at Nishi. Brown and Momofuku emperor David Chang partner to launch this burger. The professor Patrick Brown who is the head of the company has challenged anyone to test the burger and say that it is not meat.

Analyzing and exploring this burger leads to any sane man saying this much that it contains a raw beef patty. However, in fact it is fake meat. The entire burger is made of plant matter.
In the labs of Impossible Foods, amino acids, fats and various ingredients are obtained from plants and mixed together in order to create this meatless burger.
The texture, hue and taste of this burger are so much like the real thing that one can hardly be able to differentiate the former from the latter.
"I was genuinely blown away when I tasted the burger....The Impossible Foods team has discovered how to re-engineer what makes beef taste like beef. We're always looking to support people who are making the best products in the best ways possible and to me, the Impossible Burger is one more example," David Chang told Eater. "First and foremost, we think this makes a delicious burger."
It seems wondrous to see the blood of cows being recreated in the lab via the adding of heme to the concoction. Heme is a very crucial part of hemoglobin and is found in a few plants.
The end result is a burger like no other. Termed the version 4.0, it sure has evolved since the first such sample came out. That prototype tasted like stale polenta. It was positively disgusting. In order for this plant-based burger to really mesmerize the meat eaters among us, it has to match a beef burger all the way.
When the burger is pressed, it releases its juices. It looks exactly like a beef patty with its protein and fat strands all intertwined and meshed up with each other. This patty was made to look like it had 80% protein and 20% fat in it.
When the fake meat patty is lifted off the plate it is in, it leaves behind a few drops of what looks like blood. This shows the ingenuity of the researchers who made this burger from scratch in the lab.
As the burger is cooked on a flaming grill, it begins to sizzle and lets loose an aroma that is exactly like the real thing. The coloration also evolves into a dark brownish grey.
Some areas on the patty turn into a rich brown hue. When it is finally placed with a lettuce leaf, tomato slice and plant-based cheese in between the burger buns, it looks good enough to eat.

The taste is somewhere between beef and turkey which is not bad when you come to think about it. The people at Impossible Foods are still continuing their experiments with comestibles. They may progress even further to the stage where a steak is made that is entirely plant-based!
