If you can remember back to when Taylor Swift burst onto the music scene with Tim McGraw, you know that her hair used to be extremely curly. In fact, Taylor's golden locks brought back the "tendril" style curls for a while, and even led to the creation of the curling wands to get that perfected style.

Then, Taylor's hair started to change as her music style changed. It got straighter and shorter as her songs started to sound more like pop music.

Swifties, the name given to Taylor Swift fans, have also noted that every time Taylor starts working on a new album, she changes up her hairstyles. Many people thought that the blunt, Anna Wintour style bob was indicative of the coming music from Taylor, but then a lot of things happened.

For one, she broke up with Calvin Harris (after writing a song for him under a pseudonym) and started dating Tom Hiddleston. Then, Kim and Kanye dealt what felt like a death punch to her career, revealing that she wasn't entirely truthful about her knowledge of Kanye's song "Famous."

So it would make sense that Taylor's loss of the "good girl" title would go along with this sleeker look.

Not so fast.

Taylor has made a career out of being the "good girl" and she might have to do something a little crazy to win back that title. Over the weekend, the superstar showed up to sing with Nelly at friend Karlie Kloss's birthday party - and her hair was back in those iconic tendril curls.

Naturally, her fans started to freak out at the possibilities, trending #TaylorsCurlsAreBack on Twitter.

While no one knows for sure, it is certainly exciting for fans of Taylor, fans of country music, and fans of music in general - after all, the girl knows how to write a great song.
