Not only is the biscuit making company coming up with a new flavor, the very flavor is beyond our wildest dreams. Reservations on how the cookie might taste with the most impossible of flavors did not deter Oreo.
Oreo announced they will be releasing a special edition Swedish fish flavored cookies very soon. The news was confirmed by the parent company Nabisco to the PEOPLE magazine on Wednesday.
The limited edition packs of the Swedish Fish Oreos will only be available exclusively at Kroger. Kroger is an Ohio-based supermarket chain.
The new Swedish Fish Oreos will keep in traditional crunchy, chocolate wafers. But the flavor of the crème inside the crunchy biscuits will have a Swedish Fish taste.
The color of the Swedish fish frosting will have a red color. According to Oreo the frosting will be “sticky, chewy” and even “slimy”. Don’t know about the masses but this frosting is one flavor we would like to steer clear of.
But not all are as reserved as us. The people at the food blog, The Impulsive Buy claim to have already sampled the exclusive edition cookie. According to them the crazy Oreo flavor tastes just as the pack claims ... like Fish!
