Screen quality should be at the top of the list of features that you want your smartphones to have because it will determine how photos and graphics will look like, how easily you will be able to read text on your phones and how the phone will react in different sunlight conditions.

And according to emerging reports the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has the highest display quality a smartphone has to offer at this moment. The phablet from Samsung has a 5.7-inch, 2560x1440 pixel Quad-HD Super AMOLED screen which is curved at both sides.

This high resolution display claim can now be vouched for by DisplayMate’s President Raymond Soneira who tested the phablet out for a Technology Shoot Out issue. The Galaxy Note 7 passed with flying colors and a bunch of features stood out.

The smartphone has 4 color modes to offer in contrast to the one mode that all other smartphones offer. The AMOLED Cinema mode lets you use watch 4K videos on the phone. The Note 7 came out as a winner when it was tested for brightness, contrast ratio and screen reflectance.

In addition to this it has the widest color gamut any smartphone has. Soneira stated that "Almost every display lab test and measurement shows some improvements compared to the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S7,” as well as “The Galaxy Note 7 provides many major and important state-of-the-art display enhancements, with mobile OLED display technology now advancing faster than ever” and to conclude said that “The Galaxy Note 7 is the most innovative and high-performance smartphone display that we have ever tested."
