A new take on the travel pillow enables horizontal sleeping in a economy seat on a plane.

The FaceCradle travel pillow uses a unique harness support that anchors to the seat-back to allow for horizontal dozing. The neck pillow on steroids features five different sleep modes for any kind of seating on a plane, bus, train or in a car.

If you show up with a FaceCradle on your next flight, your seat neighbor will be jealous. Judging from the video the FaceCradle appears to work as promised. I could imagine sleeping with this travel pillow on an airplane. Watch the video below.

The company behind FaceCradle is Australian Hairy Turtle Pty Ltd. The business owners David Scrimshaw and Roz Ruwhiu came up with the design. David Scrimshaw is a highly awarded product designer, product marketer and entrepreneur, with over 30 patents to his name and the founder of Ozito, a famous power tool brand based in Australia.

Roz Ruwhiu has many years experience in Advertising where, as the Head of Production she has made countless television commercials mostly for famous brands and working with some of the most creative talent in her industry.

FaceCradle is ready to ship in September 2016 starting at $29 AUD ($22) for early birds. The retail price is $59 AUD ($45). You can get the FaceCradle through this Kickstarter campaign. The project is already 25% funded.
