Mobileye and Delphi team up to make driverless system.
Mobileye and Delphi industries made an official announcement today according to which both of these will work on the automated driving solution. They will be working together in order to develop the SAE level 4/5 which is an automated driving solution. This software will make sure that the vehicles which incorporated self-driving will show functional safety and integrity according to the standards.

It will also make sure that autonomous vehicles could be integrated for a number of platforms all around the world. The partners will showcase a combine performance of vehicles in at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that will be held in 2017. They are trying to release the technology officially by the year 2019.
Mobileye is one of the leading computer vision system. They are known for their software that are provided for vehicles. They have also successfully developed software for automated vehicles and are now trying new horizons to bring the technology to the top. Delphi on the other hand is known for its different types of automated car software, sensors for these vehicles and systems integration. The combined effort of 4/5 automated driving solution by the two will be the key to success for both these.
The automated solution will use key features which will be contributed equally by both companies. This isn’t the first time that the two companies are working together. They also formulated a partnership in the year 2002. At that time Mobileye and Delphi both formulated a safety system which is still regarded as one of the best ones.
According to CEO of Delphi, Clark, the partnership will give rise to new technology that will be helpful in cost effective and easy to approach automated technology.
