The new Tesla Model S P100D and a Model X crossover unveiled with so many new and brave additions. The Model S P100D with Ludicrous mode is the third fastest accelerating production car ever produced. And the larger 100 kWh battery pack is also available on the Model X, making the world’s quickest SUV even faster.
Tesla has been working hard from the past few months in order to make the bigger batteries for cars that could provide greater mileage. It looks like the company has finally achieved a good battery time for its new cars.
They have just released the new Model S and a crossover of Model X. These will carry a new battery which is bigger thus will provide more range for the cars. The average Tesla was giving around 180-200 miles per charge on a big battery up till now.
Tesla claims that its Model S P100D is the fastest production car in the world and that too in terms of acceleration with 2.5s from 0 to 60mph. Tesla is comparing it to LeFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder. Both of these were fastest cars however they were both produced for a limited edition. The only car that can keep up with the Model S P100D would be the Rimac Concept_One. It is time for a race between a Rimac Concept_One and a Tesla Model S P100D.
On the other hand this Tesla Model S will be a factory produced car which will be sold to the general public. The Model S is supposed to have a 100 kilowatt hour battery which will in turn deliver a mileage of 315 miles. It will also have the ludicrous mode.
The other model that is being released in Model X P100D. It also has the ludicrous model that makes the acceleration in electric cars much smoother than average electric car. It has the ability to top 0 to 60mph in mere 2.9 seconds. It will have the ability to give a mileage of 289 miles per charge.
The Model S P100D will be available from $134,500 and the Model X P100D will be available from $135,500. Customers will be able to upgrade the batteries by adding more money to the original price which will give them more range.
