Katy Perry feels sorry for the victim on Catfish who was led to believe that he was talking to her for past six years.
Katy Perry is not laughing at the Catfish prank with Spencer Morill from Knoxville, Tennessee who thought he was talking to her for the past six years.
Talking about the incident on the SiriusXM radio’s “Morning Mash Up” she expressed that she was not thrilled about the incident. She admitted that she had been sent a link about the story.
She said that she didn't actually read through it because she thinks it's really unfortunate and very sad. She elaborated that her heart goes out to him.
She said that she understood that people have dreams and there are a lot of people who live in different parts of the world where not everything is so accessible. She said that we live on the coasts and we get stuff in a way that some other people don't get, and she feel bad for him.
That’s why she didn't really like to indulge in that because her heart would die. We have to commend Katy for her sympathizing attitude and understanding. Many stars would join in on making fun of Spencer.
It was not easy for him when he was told by Catfish Nev Schulman and Max Joseph that he had not been talking to Katy Perry since 2010. He found out that he had been talking to a woman named Heather who lives in England.
Spencer reached out to the show to find out what was really going on because he had went on to take their “conversations” to the next level and even had his grandmother’s ring modified to make an engagement ring. Katy Perry is currently in an open and committed relationship with Orlando Bloom.
