The ability to pass information on StreetPass with other players has always been one of the best parts of the Nintendo 3DS. Unfortunately, you have only been able to capture up to 10 Miis at a time, and going through them is quite annoying. Well, on Friday morning, Nintendo Direct announced that there will be a new "Quick Plaza" to make the process much smoother as well as a new feature to increase the number of encounters to 100.

Quick Plaza is a little faster but the best part is that it has been streamlined to only show names and locations. It is easier to boot up and it has everything on one screen instead of on separate screens like before.
This limit increase answers the concerns of people who use StreetPass at large events. There were a lot of problems at San Diego Comic-Con because people filled up within minutes of getting there and sorting through everything killed a lot of batteries. According to Engadget, it is included as part of StreetPass Premium, so you'll have to pay for it.
There will also be five new games for Streetpass including Slot Car Rivals, Market Crashers, Feed Me, Ninja Launcher, and Mii Trek, a step counter.
You'll be able to download all of it in the eShop for $3 each, or a bundle for $9. Slot Car Rivals or Market Crashers are free as part of a special promotion.
