The iPhone 7 rumors and leaks are coming to an end today as Apple unveils officially the iPhone 7. Here is what we do not know yet about the iPhone 7.

The last secrets about the iPhone 7 will be revealed today at 10am PDT. There are not many things left that we do not know about the iPhone 7. Apple again totally lost control over the supply chain of the upcoming iPhone as in the past years. There have been leaked parts, CAD files and prototypes.

You can read below in the iPhone 7 details everything we know about the iPhone 7. What is still not known is if Apple is introducing three iPhone 7 models. There have been leaks that hint to an iPhone 7 Pro with smart connector. A mysterious iPhone9,3 identifier surfaced on a Geekbench report earlier this week. The iPhone 6S is identified internally by iPhone8,1 and the iPhone 6S Plus as iPhone8,2. An iPhone9,3 identifier suggest there are three iPhone 7 models.

The theory of three iPhone 7 models brings up the question which model has the dual lens camera. One possibility is that only the iPhone 7 Pro has it, adding to the smart connector. A new rumor suggest that the Apple Pencil works with the iPhone 7. This might again just be a feature of the iPhone 7 Pro.

Also unclear is the iPhone 7 pricing. The iPhone 7 is finally started at a 32GB storage configuration. Fans hope that the entry price of the iPhone 7 stays the same despite the higher storage. It is going to be very likely that Apple keeps the current pricing starting at $649 unlocked. The iPhone 7 comes also with 128GB and 256GB configurations. The price for these models might be higher than what Apple charged on the iPhone 6S for 64GB and 128GB. Especially the iPhone 7 256GB is at risk to be priced more than $849.

The last big secret is about how Apple is selling us the iPhone 7. Apple kept the iPhone 7 (iPhone 6 SE) in line with the past two iPhone releases for the first time. How will Tim Cook argue that? The company needs to convince especially current iPhone owners to upgrade to make the iPhone 7 a success.

iPhone 7 Details

The iPhone 7 has leaked over the past months in the shape of components and rear shells. Apple chose to keep the design of the iPhone 6 for the iPhone 7. The rear shell design has been improved, pushing the antenna lines to the edges and making the lens setting part of the housing.

The iPhone 7 will be the first iPhone to have no 3.5mm audio jack and start at 32GB storage. It will also be the first iPhone that can be configured with 256GB storage. A dual camera option is also coming and the new iPhone 7 is expected to be IP67 waterproof.

Other features of the iPhone 7 include the faster A10 CPU (30% more power). Apple sticks to 2GB of RAM in the new iPhone 7 (3GB rumored for iPhone 7 Plus), shipping on Friday, September 16.

A leaked iPhone identifier suggests that there will be three iPhone 7 models: 4.7-inch iPhone 7, 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus and 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Pro with dual camera and smart connector. Apple is according to an analyst unveiling wireless AirPods for the iPhone 7.

Apple is changing the color options and Apple fans will be able to choose from 5 colors including the new shiny or glossy black and a darker space gray.
