Ben Sturner caught the pic on camera from Long Island. The time of the snapshot is 7:00 AM on Thursday. Sturner is the owner of a marketing agency. He posted the pic on Twitter. Another image he posted a year ago shows a rainbow that ended up on the One World Trade Center.
Usually Sturner sees the building each and every day. Yet on Thursday he was really surprised to see the beam of light emanating from its topmost part.
After all the sights of this building, when he saw this particular difference on Thursday, he decided to take a photograph of it. He used his iPhone to take the picture.
After posting it on social online media, he felt that a point had been made. According to USAToday, he received an unbelievably voluminous response on the posting of the inspirational photo. It was a truly memorable pic of a tragic site that galvanized the United States to fight the war on terror.
The pic is evidence of hope and resilience. The United State is a society of diversity and it is in its melting pot nature that its strength lies.
The sun shines in the form of a beam of light on this place where such a catastrophe took place and yet where America took a vow to fight the scourge of terrorism and extremism.
Sturner was a bit reluctant to share this photo on his Twitter account since he wasn’t sure how people would react to it. Yet the hopeful message it so pictorially gives shows that like the the Americans as a nation will rise to the occasion and boldly face the enemy with bravery and manliness.
On 9/11 way back in 2001, over 3000 people died in the terror attacks. At times like those, the Americans as a nation fought back against the terrorists on every level.
Sturner took the photos of the building that was constructed in place of the original fallen twin towers, and didn’t edit it at all. He just put it on social media and the response was very outspoken. Everybody felt that the light emanating from the building reflected the souls of those who died in the attacks.
While the moment is one of sadness since families lost their near and dear ones, it is also one of determination to launch an offensive against such iniquitous terrorists who kill innocent people and use the cowardly method of terrorism which is a weapon of the weak.
