The Nike self-lacing sneaker will go on sale Cyber Monday 2016 (November 28).
The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 is likely the smartest sneaker. Inspired by the legendary Back to the Future self-lacing sneakers, the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 is automatically thigthen laces based on sensor data. Nike will launch this innovative high tech sneaker on Cyber Monday 2016 which is this year on Monday, November 28.

Nike announced the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Self-Lacing Sneaker back in March. A sensor in the heel triggers the lacing to automatically tighten. The wearer can adjust the lacing with buttons while wearing.

You need to be a Nike+ member and according to Nike PR Director Heidi Burgett, there will be scheduled appointments to experience and purchase the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Self-Lacing Sneaker. Details on how to make an appointment for the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Self-Lacing Sneaker will be announced in the coming weeks.
Nike has been working on self-lacing for years now. Now the company as a product that makes sense, but is not yet as impressive as the Back to the Future sneakers.
