Season 23 of Dancing with the Stars has eliminated its first "Star," and it wasn't the person at the bottom of the leader board. The first goodbye was Wizards of Waverly Place star Jake T. Austin and the newest Pro Dancer, Jenna Johnson.

Jake and Jenna were eliminated after finding themselves in the bottom four along with Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev, Amber Rose and Maks Chmerkovskiy, and Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke.
It is a little sad to see the child star go home so early, but it isn't all that surprising considering he tied for the second lowest score both this week and last week. The only person he was above was Rick Perry.
While it didn't seem that fans were too surprised by the elimination, they were upset with what happened on the show.
During the first hour, they rehashed every dance and used inaudible commentary with misspelled caption. The same thing could have been accomplished in ten minutes on an hour- - or even half hour- - long results show. Did ABC have nothing else to put on?
Dancing with the Stars airs Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
