According to a recent report by TMZ, both of the actors have already got their negotiating teams discussing the terms of the divorce. Some sources have even added that the negotiations are allegedly already going 'full steam ahead' in the process.
The process it seems, had been going for a while. It was even called off by Brad when the story about him and Maddox’s altercation came to light. Brad felt that Angelina’s representation leaked the story intentionally to make him look bad.
His beliefs are not unfounded as L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services are investigating into the incident. Their determination about the case as child abuse will be taken into account while settling the case for the custody of the children.
There are currently four main issues of settlement that the former couple is focusing on which include, custody and visitation, temporary support for Angelina and the kids, permanent financial support and property split.
The main concern is the custody of the children, Maddox, aged 15, Pax, aged 12, Zahara, aged 11, Shiloh, aged 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, aged eight.
According to sources, Angelina has asked for sole physical custody with Brad having visitation. Sources say that Angelina is aware that she will need Brad co-parenting in the future for the welfare of their children.
The settlement for their properties is going over much more smoothly. Sources say that in addition to the properties, Angelina has already put in demand to keep the jewellery and baubles that have been gifted to her by Brad over their twelve years relationship.
