The new Rogue One trailer was showcased at Good Morning America revealing more about the rebellion in the story
As the Star Wars fans know the Rogue One is a stand-alone movie that depicts the events before the movie A New Hope which was released in 1977. The movie features the main character Jyn Erso who is recruited to lead a rebellion against the Empire to steal the plans for Death Star. If you remember these plans help Luke Skywalker take down the Empire.

The new trailer was premiered at the Good Morning America show. The trailer gives the fans a little more from the movie and the rebellion. The trailer starts with the young Jyn Erso being told by her father Galen Erso that whatever he did was to protect her as the Empire’s forces approach. He asks her if she understands and she tells him that he does.
We then see Jyn, grown up in a prison cell. The prison is broken into and the invaders take Jyn to their headquarters. Mon Mothma’s voiceover is heard that their rebellion is the only resistance against the Empire. They tell Jyn that they could use her help. Andor asks her if she has been in contact with her father and she asks them what it is.
Mon Mothma tells Jyn that her father is critical in development of the weapon. Death Star so we know he is alive. Jyn tells Andor that if her father is building the weapon, they need to find him. We see the team taking off and the pilot is asked the craft’s name which he calls Rogue One. The Empire is also getting ready to strike.
Director Orson Krenn tells Vader that the weapon’s power is immeasurable. One of the rebels ask that if the Empire has such power, what chance do they have?
Jyn replies that they have hope, rebellions are built on hope. We see them infiltrating the Empire and Jyn’s voice is heard saying that they don’t know that they are there.
Blind rebel Chirrut Imwe tells them to make the best of the moment. Andor tells them to make 10 men feel like hundred. We see a sequence of fights on ground and in space and we hear Jyn say that they will take the next chance and the next. They are all rebels, aren’t they?
Andor and the rest smile and ascertain that they are ready for action. Forest Whittaker’s character calls out to them to save the rebellion and save the hope.
