Note 7 is gone for good but Galaxy S7 users can now enjoy its exclusive software features
The bitter reality is that Galaxy Note 7 is now gone for good. Nevertheless, you may be in for a consolation if you have switched to another Samsung phone after giving up on Note 7. Latest reports from Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users claim that they have received an update which gives many of the Note 7 Always On Display (AOD) features such as its customization.

Now don’t be misguided to think that this is a wholesale port for the Note 7 you would actually require pen support for that. On the other hand some users are also reporting broken features such as a dysfunctional email app but this was reported in the initial release.
Yet the timing of this update is pretty convenient and is great for those who have switched to S7 after the mishap. You actually won’t have to wait long to see something similar to what you were missing on but then again we have no guarantee that Samsung will bring everything in from the Note 7.
