Madonna sings some of her best hits, twerk, flex and talks about her life, kids and kissing Michael Jackson in the latest round of Carpool Karaoke
Lady Gaga showed some major talent in the last session of Carpool Karaoke as a part of promoting her latest album Joanne. During one of her promotional interviews, she called out that she was nothing like Madonna when compared to the Queen of Pop. So CBS made an effort to get Madonna next in the second seat of the famous Carpool Karaoke session with James Corden.

The singer wore her iconic black and gold look with her blonde hair falling down in wavy tresses around her face. Leather jacket, multi coloured shirt, gold trimmings and leather hand gloves with gold settings. Madonna was the rock chick in the car. James wore a red flannel shirt which was the topic of discussion after he thanked her for being his guide around New York City. She also called him names when he let a driver cut him off.
He then turned on the radio as they sang her super hit song Vogue. Both performed Vogue dance moves and then Madonna unclasped her seatbelt to stretch her leg over her head. James followed her lead and did the same, although not quite right.
After the song, Madonna said that she had thought that James would undress for her because she had heard he did do that. James said that he agreed that with a body like his, he knew it was good to share it but he didn’t want her to be aroused in the car.
They then partied in the car literally to Bitch I’m Madonna and the singer unclasped her seatbelt once again to get up and twerk on her seat. James was past himself as he declared that that was the first time anyone had twerked in the car.
Talking about her kids, she said that they like her newer music. She said that they were quite rebellious and that was because she was not rebellious in her personal life although her work is. She doesn’t smoke or drink or go to parties. Her lifestyle is square and predictable.
She says that when she goes home, she is like Julie Andrews, she would prefer a nun’s habit. She said that she had wanted to be a nun because she found that life fascinating and perverse in a way. She admitted that she had been ex-communicated by the Vatican thrice for her views. The next song they sang was “Papa Don’t Preach”
They then walked about her time in the musical Evita. They then played out a scene from the musical in which she had been standing on the balcony of Cosa Rosata with hands raised as they sang, “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” They were tearing up by the end of it.
They then took a shot at her song, Express Yourself complete with shades. James then asked what kind of man she preferred. She said that the man had to have a good sense of humor to understand hers. He asked if she’d marry again and she asked him if he was unconsciously proposing to her.
He told her he was married and Madonna called Julia, his wife, lucky. She said that it’s the best thing in the world to be married to someone funny. She then criticized his dressing sense once more, eyeing his flannel shirt. They then performed her song, Ray of Light.
James then asked her about her friendship with Michael Jackson. She hinted that she had kissed him and on further petering by James, she said that she had kissed him. She said that no one ever asked her about it so she doesn’t talk about it.
She said that she had made the first move because the King of Pop was a little shy, however, he was a willing accomplice. She admitted that she had used a glass of chardonnay to loosen him up. At the end, Madonna said that James was her friend and they settled that James was her bitch.
By the end, they performed her single Music and Madonna put her legs out of the window once she declared that she couldn’t take it anymore. He thanked her for showing around her New York. She thanked him in return saying this was the only time she hadn’t mind being stuck in traffic.
