Sharp announces the Mobile Internet Device Willcom D4, which is apparently beating everybody else to be the first Intel Atom MID running Windows Vista.
Intel announced the Atom CPUs on April 1st. The new Sharp WillCom D4 is designed for the Japanese market as it leverages the Willcom PHS network, but gives us an idea on the Atom MIDs that will be coming to the market this year.
Features of the Sharp Willcom D4 include 5 inch TFT screen, Intel Atom Z520 processor at 1.33GHz, 1GB RAM, 40GB HDD, Wifi, QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, micro-sd card, WANSEGU Digital TV Tuner and 2MP camera.
The feature set above which is already very impressive becomes even more so, when considering the measurements of the WillCom D4 ~190x84x25.9mm and the weight of 470g.
