Harmonix and MTV announced recently that the 80’s rock band Motley Crue will be releasing its latest single called “Saints of Los Angeles” as a downloadable, playable track for the Rock Band video game. The track is released on Motley Records.

The tune will be available for download on April 15th via Xbox Live Marketplace for 160 points and on April 17th on the Playstation store for $0.99. Rock Band will also be going on tour with Motley Crue for the Crue Fest 40-city tour with bands like Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx: A.M. and Trapt.

The tour will feature a fold out Rock Band second stage where concert goers can compete for a chance to take the stage between acts. There is no word on availability of the track for download on the Wii version of Rock Band.
