Buy sony playtv from Amazon Prime Day, Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

According to TrustedReviews announced today that the Sony PlayTV was available for pre-order and showed an estimated ship date of July 31st. Pricing for the pre-order PVR enabler for the PS3 was listed as £59.99 after a £10.00 discount for pre-ordering.

Sony originally promised the PlayTV in early 2008, and it has yet to materialize. For a game console that is advertised as much for media center duties as gaming, PVR is a big improvement to add. The PlayTV is reported to have dual digital tuners for over the air HD recording while watching another program.

Unfortunately TrustedReviews is now reporting that Amazon has pulled the page for its site. It wouldn’t be the first time an overzealous Amazon employee posted something early. So it could be that the ship date was right and the product just wasn’t supposed to be live yet.
