Sony released today the Sony PS3 firmware 2.35. The release notes of firmware 2.35 on the Japanese site just say: "Some PS3 software standards, work to improve stability".
This firmware update is not fixing anything related to the GTA IV issue some gamers on older PS3 consoles experience. A comment on the Playstation blog indicates that Sony Customer support has a solution for the GTA IV problem.
Sony did not specify which games benefit from the new firmware 2.35.
