EA’s The Sims franchise is one of the biggest selling video game franchises of all times. The casual games appeal to all sorts of gamers of different sexes and age groups. EA announced a new title that is coming in The Sims franchise called MySims Kingdom today.

The new game will launch exclusively on the Nintendo Wii and DS platforms. The game puts gamers in the shoes of King Roland as he tries to rebuild his kingdom. The title will launch in Fall 2008 globally. EA says that you and your companions can venture out of the castle and sail over the horizon if you desire.

"MySims has been met with such enthusiasm by players and families everywhere, we are excited to make MySims its own franchise within The Sims Label," said Rod Humble, Head of Studio for The Sims Label. "MySims Kingdom has players helping King Roland and his subjects make the MySims world a better place by completing rewarding quests, building houses, bridges or even making contraptions powered by electricity or water. And MySims Kingdom on Nintendo DS, adds many new activities such as kayaking, ski jumping, populating the town zoo and many others!"
