IOGEAR announced a new product today called the USB Net ShareStation. The device allows the sharing of USB devices over a network including external hard drives, printers, speakers, webcams and more. IOGEAR also says connecting the ShareStation to a wireless router allows sharing of USB devices wirelessly.

The ShareStation can support up to four devices at the same time and is AC powered for support of high power USB devices. IOGEAR says the ShareStation is compatible with USB 2.0 and works with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. The 4-port ShareStation is available now at $79.95.

"With multiple users in a home or small office, individuals need a simple, cost-effective way to share USB devices if they can't access them directly," said Miranda Su, executive vice president at IOGEAR. "Our USB Net ShareStation lets consumers access any flash drive, hard drive, printer, speaker or Webcam on their network, greatly increasing productivity as they can work off of USB tools as if they were connected directly to their computer."
