NVIDIA 3-way SLI Review

Buy 9800 gtx from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

Today we are checking out NVIDIA’s 3-Way SLI with a trio of NVIDIA 9800 GTX video cards. The 9800 GTX is currently the best performing card capable of supporting 3-way SLI.

Performance of the three 9800 GTX card was impressive and the only real issue is that the cards virtually ensure you won’t be using any of the expansion ports available on your computer.

Review excerpt: “When all the testing was done it was apparent that on the same test machine with the same exact settings on some tests 3-way SLI performed better than Quad SLI did. The tradeoff for 3-way SLI is that not all of the boards out there support it, while many support normal SLI. You also give up all of your expansion ports save one (if you are lucky) when you have three cards in your machine.” Read the full NVIDIA 3-Way SLI review here.
