As reported on Monday, German Discounter Aldi will sell the Medion akoya mini Netbook E1210 starting July 3rd. The Medion akoya mini is a MSI Wind U100, which we think is the currently the best Netbook you can get.
Features of the Medion akoya mini include 10 inch display, 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD, 1.6Ghz Intel Atom CPU, Intel GMA 950 Graphics, card reader, VGA camera, USB, Wifi 802.11b/g/draft-n and Windows XP Home.
The akoya mini ships with bag, batteries and power adapter. Measurements are 260x180x19/31.5mm and the weight is 1.2kg incl. battery.
Medion ships WordPerfect Office X3, Bullguard security software, WISO Mein Geld 2008, and Symantec Recovery with the akoya mini.
Aldi will sell the akoya mini for 399 Euro (~$619) starting July 3rd.

The MSI Wind is supposed to be available for purchase today in the United States after it was delayed earlier in June.
