With the recent PS3 2.40 patch going live, the way for the PS3 Trophy system is paved and ready to go. The first games to support Trophy’s are now getting patched to allow gamers to start collecting.

The first game to get a Trophy patch is the download game Super Stardust HD and players can start getting trophies right now. Other developers have pledged to support trophies in future releases and in games already on the market.

Criterion and Naughty Dog have said they will add trophy support for Burnout Paradise and Uncharted: Drake’s fortune at some point in the future. Exactly when we will see these patches is unknown.
