CPU3D published a Gigabyte Radeon HD4870 review.
Quote from the review: "AMD/ATI's flagship GPU makes its debut in the form of the Gigabyte Radeon HD4870 (GV-R487-512H-B). It's one of the most anticipated alternatives to Nvidia's Geforce ... but will the hardcore gamers buy it? It utilises the Radon HD4870 (RV770 XT) GPU, which runs at 750Mhz and uses 512Mb of GDDR5 ram. It features a massive 800 processor stream units, while supporting DX10.1.
The performance of the Gigabyte GV-R487-512H-B Radeon HD4870 is extrememly good ... It may not be as fast as the Geforce GTX 280 ... but the performance isn't that far off. "
