End of June photos and first information leaked about new . Not all of them might actually materialize but the Eee PC 904 got more real in the last days.
We already reported about the Eee 904 HD, but it looks like there will be just one Asus Eee 904 with less than exciting specifications but low price.
Chip Magazine (Via Eee PC News in Germany reports that the Asus Eee 904 would sell for under 300 Euro, which I would assume translates in a $300 to $400 USD pricing for North America.
The Asus 904 would sport the same Intel Celeron CPU that the first generation of Asus Eee PCs had. Other features of the 904 would include a 80GB HDD, 1GB RAM, 8.9 inch screen with 1024x600px resolution, larger keyboard because of Asus Eee PC 1000 case measurements.
The Asus Eee PC 904 would start shipping mid-July already. The Asus Eee PC 901 just started shipping today in the U.S.
The Asus Eee PC 904 is more usable with the larger screen and larger keyboard than the Asus Eee PC 701 series, but would have the same attractive pricing. The new Atom based Asus Eee PCs are just too expensive.
