Lotus is a sports car maker known around the world and while the firm is well known, it’s not known for new models. In fact Lotus has just introduced its first new model in over 10 years since the 1995 introduction of the Elise.
The car doesn’t have a final name yet and is going by the codename Project Eagle. The car will be a roadster, and if the shot here hints at anything it must be a removable hard top. The car looks a bit like a Lamborghini in the front to me.
The car will go on sale in early 2009 at a price of £60,000. The official name for the car will be announced next week. The car is said to be good for 160mph and 0-60 in less than 5 seconds. Only 2,000 of the cars will be made each year.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
