Cowon unveiled the Cowon P5 portable media player. The P5 comes along with a luxury hairline metal body crammed with tons of features.
Features of the Cowon P5 include 5 inch touchscreen with 800x480px resolution, Widget and Haptic User interface, T-DMB TV tuner, FM radio, Bluetooth, video and music player (AVI, ASF, WMV, MPG, OGM, DivX, Xvid, MPEG4, WMV9, MP3, WMA, AC3), photo player, document viewer, USB host, and USB 2.0.
The P5 runs on the RMI Alchemy AU1250 700Mhz CPU and comes in 40GB, 60GB, and 80GB storage options.
The user interface of the P5 looks quite nice and engaging.
The Cowon P5 has no integrated Wi-Fi, but allows use of a WiFi USB stick to connect to the internet and use the Windows CE browser.
The measurements of the P5 are 138.8 x 88.5 x 20.0 mm and the weight is 380g. There is no information on pricing yet. The release date of the Cowon P5 is supposed to be the 29th of July in Korea in black, platinum, and red.
