JVC announced new ear buds today that are available in multiple colors called the JVC Gumy Air ear buds. The ear buds use a soft silicone rubber air cushion for the earpiece. The colors available are made to match the color range of the iPod Nano and shuffle.

The ear buds use an 11mm neodymium driver with high power and sensitivity. The cord is 1-meter long, friction noise reduction that has an iPhone compatible plug. The air cushion ear cushion changes shape offering the feel of custom ear buds.

The JVC HA-F240 Gumy Air ear bud headphones are now available for $14.95. That is a good price if the ear buds sound better than what ships with the iPod. There is no mic for use making phone calls with the iPhone.
