NVIDIA has reacted to a report from Digitimes about the company getting out of the chipset business. Today Digitimes reports that NVIDIA issued a statement saying that they are not stopping to make chipsets.
NIVIDIA says that their motherboard chipset business is healthy and the are planning new chipsets for the AMD and Intel based motherboards.
So it looks like the sources Digitimes have given them wrong information about NVIDIA's chipset plans.
Now that NVIDIA stays in the chipset business the rumor about rumor about Apple sourcing chips from NVIDIA for their next MacBooks could be true again.
