Lenovo has announced that it will jump into the cheap netbook fray with its IdeaPad S10. Lenovo will offer two different IdeaPad S10 models priced at £200 or £250. The price difference boils down to storage capacity and the amount of RAM in the system.

The lower cost version has 512MB of RAM and an 80GB HDD while the more expensive version gets 1GB of RAM and a 160GB HDD. Both models will feature the Intel Atom CPU.

Both versions will run windows XP and use 10.2-inch LED backlit screens. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 1.3MP webcam and a card reader. The S10 will be available in the US in October; release date for the UK is unknown at this time.
