Asus Eee 1008HA started to ship from Amazon

Amazon has started shipping the new stylish Asus Eee Seashell 1008HA netbook yesterday. At this point I cannot say if the 1008HA started shipping directly from Amazon or the 3rd party vendors offering it on Amazon. Our records show that people who pre-ordered the 1008HA have it coming their way.
The new Asus Eee PC 10008HA is only 1 inch thick and weighs 1.1kg. It has the new design language, which Asus calls Seashell. Asus already unveiled the Eee 1005HA and the Eee 1101HA.

The new Asus Eee PC 1008HA features a 10 inch screen, 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N280 Processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB Hard Drive, 10GB Eee Storage, Bluetooth, Windows XP Home, 9.5 Hour Battery Life, 92%-scaled keyboard, multi-touch touchpad, instant key (for quick access to Wi-Fi and the touchpad lock), Digital Array Microphone, 1.3 megapixel camera, and SRS Sound.
The Asus Eee 1008HA sells currently for $417 on Amazon.com.
